Every time you leave safety, you choose what to carry, how much to risk, and when to return.
Pack weapons, ammunition, food, and medicine before leaving the Safe Zone. Leave room for what you hope to find.
Pack extra supplies, or leave space for more loot?
Search abandoned areas for weapons, food, and medicine. Backpack space and weight are limited. You cannot bring everything back.
Is this find worth its weight and the space it takes?
Zombies are only part of the threat. Other survivors may become allies, or they may want everything in your backpack.
Fight, cooperate, or retreat with what you have?
Return to the Safe Zone to store your haul, sell unwanted items, and prepare for your next trip.
Head back now, or risk a little more?
INFECT connects combat, scavenging, and the journey home. The stakes rise with everything you carry.
Abandoned settlements, woodland routes, and high-risk areas. Every stage asks whether to push further or bring your finds back to the Safe Zone.

Choose what to carry, organize your supplies, and decide what this run is for. Returning with your finds prepares you for the next trip.
Are you ready to head out?
Buildings and streets offer places to search and corners to watch. The town-design direction emphasizes climbing routes, cover, and route choices when encountering other players.
Search another building, or avoid signs of other survivors?
Woodland represents the travel between destinations in this evolving world direction. Consider a detour to avoid an encounter, or a shorter route to conserve supplies for the return.
The shortest route, or the one you can read more clearly?
The far end of a run asks whether to push further or turn back. Specific location concepts such as mines remain under consideration. Threats and rewards will follow confirmed game design.
Is what you hope to find worth what you already carry?
Illustrations are concept art. Environment direction may change during development.
Other players may cooperate, pass you by, or fight for what you found. Choosing whom to trust is part of survival.
